AIxCrypto Holdings (Nasdaq: AIXC) has disclosed what it calls the first commercial case of its RoboShare rental business model, in which a $33,000 one-year robot rental order helped drive a much larger equipment purchase from an education-sector customer.

According to the company, the customer originally planned to buy five FX NAVI robots. After engaging with the RoboShare rental offering, the customer instead signed a purchase order for 23 FFAI robots, an increase of 18 units, and expanded the product mix from a single robot model to three.

AIxC frames this as evidence that rental access can act as a bridge toward larger direct purchases, effectively using a smaller, lower-commitment rental order to build customer confidence before a bigger capital outlay on hardware.

RoboShare & Co. Dealer Program

Alongside the rental-to-purchase case, AIxC announced the launch of RoboShare & Co., a North American dealer partner program effective August 26. The program offers five distinct partnership paths, targeting dealers, asset owners, users, referral partners, and rental operators.

The company said the model is designed to start with FFAI hardware and then grow the pool of rentable robots by incorporating units owned by customers, dealers, and other third parties, rather than requiring AIxC to own every robot in the rental network itself. AIxC described this as a capital-efficient approach to expanding its rentable asset base.

To measure progress on the RoboShare initiative, the company said it will track a defined set of operating metrics, including the number of robots onboarded, rental order fulfillment, utilization rates, transaction volume, platform commissions, and direct service revenue.

Market Reaction

Despite the rental-to-purchase case and new dealer program, AIXC shares fell 8.35% in the August 27 trading session, with a tracked trough decline of 13.1% from the day's starting point. Trading volume was reported at 9.6 times the daily average, and a momentum scanner tracked by Stock Titan triggered 29 alerts that day, reflecting elevated volatility.

Stock Titan's analysis noted that a prior RoboShare order update had also been followed by a stock decline of 16.38%, suggesting recurring investor sensitivity around the execution and economics of the rental program, even as the company points to expanded unit sales as a sign the rental strategy is working.
