Faraday Future Intelligent Electric has thrown its weight behind AIxC Holdings, the company it controls as majority shareholder, as AIxC pivots away from digital asset treasury activity toward robot sharing and rental. AIxC's platform, called RoboShare, is designed to work like an "Uber + Turo" for robotics, letting robots be shared and rented rather than sold only once as one-time hardware purchases.

On August 15, 2026, RoboShare completed its first paid commercial order, moving the platform from development into actual revenue-generating operations. The order launches RoboShare's Ten-City Strategy, beginning with an initial market activation in Los Angeles.

The first deployment is set for an event in Malibu, California, and will involve six robots spanning three product lines: one FF Master humanoid robot, four Aegis Pro quadruped robots, and one compact Navi quadruped robot. RoboShare said it will also handle customized performance production and content design for the booking, an early test of its ability to combine different robot types for a single scenario-based job.

The customer behind the order is DU$TY, also known as Dusty the Rapper, a Los Angeles-based artist, comedian, and content creator whose verified Instagram following exceeds 7.1 million. The companies indicated they may pursue further collaboration across music, comedy, content production, and live events, which could generate repeat demand for robot rentals.

Faraday Future said its "Four-Core Full-Stack AI" ecosystem — covering the EAI Brain, EAI Device, Industry Productivity Solutions, Developer Platform, and EAI Data Factory — will support RoboShare's expansion into markets including education, industrial use, security and inspection, and performance and entertainment. The company's six product series, covering humanoid robots, mobile manipulators, and quadruped robots, are intended to widen the pool of robots available for rental through the platform.

On the business side, Faraday Future said its product and ecosystem support could help RoboShare broaden its available robot supply, lower the barrier for customers to try the service, and pursue multiple revenue paths including straight rentals, service contracts, rent-to-own arrangements, and customized operational bookings. The goal, per the announcement, is for AIxC to build a sustainable business centered on transaction and service revenue rather than one-off hardware sales.

Faraday Future also framed RoboShare as a sales funnel for its own robots, suggesting that rental and shared-experience customers could convert into future buyers, supporting broader deployment of FFAI's robot lineup alongside the rental business.
